John 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

A primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.: also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English).
From the article ho (ho,) and autos (ow-tos') ; the he (she or it), i.e. this or that (often with article repeated): he (it was that), hereof, it, she, such as, the same, these, they, this (man, same, woman), which, who.
Third person singular present indicative of eimi (i-mee') ; he (she or it) is; also (with neuter plural) they are: are, be(-long), call, can(-not), come, consisteth, dure for a while, + follow, have, (that) is (to say), make, meaneth, must needs, + profit, + remaineth, + wrestle.
Decision (subjectively or objectively, for or against); by extension, a tribunal; by implication, justice (especially, divine law): accusation, condemnation, damnation, judgment.
Neuter of hostis (hos'-tis,) as conjunction; demonstrative, that (sometimes redundant); causative, because: as concerning that, as though, because (that), for (that), how (that), (in) that, though, why.
From an obsolete phao (to shine or make manifest, especially by rays; compare phaino (fah'-ee-no) , phemi (fay-mee') ); luminousness (in the widest application, natural or artificial, abstract or concrete, literal or figurative): fire, light.
Middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the present and imperfect tenses, the others being supplied by a kindred (middle voice) eleuthomai el-yoo'-thom-ahee, or (active) eltho el'-tho, which do not otherwise occur) to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively): accompany, appear, bring, come, enter, fall out, go, grow, light, next, pass, resort, be set.
A primary preposition; to or into (indicating the point reached or entered), of place, time, or (figuratively) purpose (result, etc.); also in adverbial phrases: (abundant-)ly, against, among, as, at, (back-)ward, before, by, concerning, + continual, + far more exceeding, for (intent, purpose), fore, + forth, in (among, at, unto, -so much that, -to), to the intent that, + of one mind, + never, of, (up-)on, + perish, + set at one again, (so) that, therefore(-unto), throughout, til, to (be, the end, -ward), (here-)until(-to), ...ward, (where-)fore, with. Often used in composition with the same general import, but only with verbs (etc.) expressing motion (literally or figuratively).
Probably from the base of komizo (kom-id'-zo) ; orderly arrangement, i.e. decoration; by implication, the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively (morally)): adorning, world.
Apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words: and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.
From aner (an'-ayr) and ops (the countenance; from optanomai (op-tan'-om-ahee,) ); man-faced, i.e. a human being: certain, man.
Perhaps from agan (much) (or compare ); to love (in a social or moral sense): (be-)love, loved. Compare phileo (fil-eh'-o) .
From the base of skia (skee'-ah) ; shadiness, i.e. obscurity (literally or figuratively): darkness.
Neuter of the comparative of the same as malista (mal'-is-tah) ; (adverbially) more (in a greater degree)) or rather: + better, far, (the) more (and more), (so) much (the more), rather.
A primary particle of distinction between two connected terms; disjunctive, or; comparative, than: and, but (either), (n-)either, except it be, (n-)or (else), rather, save, than, that, what, yea. Often used in connection with other particles. Compare especially ede (ay'-day) , eper (ay'-per) , etoi (ay'-toy) .
From an obsolete phao (to shine or make manifest, especially by rays; compare phaino (fah'-ee-no) , phemi (fay-mee') ); luminousness (in the widest application, natural or artificial, abstract or concrete, literal or figurative): fire, light.
A primary particle; properly, assigning a reason (used in argument, explanation or intensification; often with other particles): and, as, because (that), but, even, for, indeed, no doubt, seeing, then, therefore, verily, what, why, yet.
From the particle au (perhaps akin to the base of aer (ah-ayr') through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative heautou (heh-ow-too') ) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons: her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare hautou (how-too') .
From a primary (but obsolete) ergo (to work); toil (as an effort or occupation); by implication, an act: deed, doing, labour, work.
Imperfect of eimi (i-mee') ; I (thou, etc.) was (wast or were): + agree, be, have (+ charge of), hold, use, was(-t), were.
From a derivative of ponos (pon'-os) ; hurtful, i.e. evil (properly, in effect or influence, and thus differing from kakos (kak-os') , which refers rather to essential character, as well as from sapros (sap-ros') , which indicates degeneracy from original virtue); figuratively, calamitous; also (passively) ill, i.e. diseased; but especially (morally) culpable, i.e. derelict, vicious, facinorous; neuter (singular) mischief, malice, or (plural) guilt; masculine (singular) the devil, or (plural) sinners: bad, evil, grievous, harm, lewd, malicious, wicked(-ness). See also poneroteros (pon-ay-rot'-er-os) .
