2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

From spoude (spoo-day') ; to use speed, i.e. to make effort, be prompt or earnest: do (give) diligence, be diligent (forward), endeavour, labour, study.
From para (par-ah') and histemi (his'-tay-mee) ; to stand beside, i.e. (transitively) to exhibit, proffer, (specially), recommend, (figuratively) substantiate; or (intransitively) to be at hand (or ready), aid: assist, bring before, command, commend, give presently, present, prove, provide, shew, stand (before, by, here, up, with), yield.
sautoi sow-to', and sauton sow-ton', respectively of (with, to) thyself: thee, thine own self, (thou) thy(-self).
From dokeo (dok-eh'-o) ; properly, acceptable (current after assayal), i.e. approved: approved, tried.
Of uncertain affinity; a deity, especially (with ho (ho,) ) the supreme Divinity; figuratively, a magistrate; by Hebraism, very: X exceeding, God, god(-ly, -ward).
From ergon (er'-gon) ; a toiler; figuratively, a teacher: labourer, worker(-men).
From a (al'-fah) (as a negative particle) and a presumed derivative of a compound of epi (ep-ee') and aischunomai (ahee-skhoo'-nom-ahee) ; not ashamed, i.e. irreprehensible: that needeth not to be ashamed.
From a compound of orthos (or-thos') and the base of tomoteros (tom-o'-ter-os) , to make a straight cut, i.e. (figuratively) to dissect (expound) correctly (the divine message): rightly divide.
From lego (leg'-o) ; something said (including the thought); by implication, a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension, a computation; specially, (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (i.e. Christ): account, cause, communication, concerning, doctrine, fame, have to do, intent, matter, mouth, preaching, question, reason, + reckon, remove, say(-ing), shew, speaker, speech, talk, thing, + none of these things move me, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work.
From alethes (al-ay-thace') ; truth: true, truly, truth, verity.
